Story
A quick update and a huge ‘thank-you’ to everyone who has donated to this fantastic cause…..
Marathon day was a warm one (typical after all the winter training!) and whilst this made it slightly tougher on the route, the atmosphere in the starting area and the huge crowds road-side seemed to be lifted by the sunshine!
I was one of only two people (Congrats to Kelly Gray!) running in the Aspergillosis Trust vest and it felt a real privilege to represent the charity at such an iconic event and in the company of so many others running for good causes…..
I have been genuinely touched by everyone’s generosity, not just with cash donations but with time and in-kind support to help me achieve, and in the end far exceed, my fund raising target - i know the Aspergillosis Trust will put every penny to good use.
I had a memorable and emotional day trotting around the streets of our capital knowing that my small effort on the day had a bigger purpose.
Thanks again from me and on behalf of the Aspergillosis Trust xx

Thank you for visiting my just-giving page, most people know i have done a number of challenges over the years but this one has been a long time coming and I’m so very proud to be able to run the London Marathon 2026 for such an amazing charity.
The vision of Aspergillosis Trust is to achieve the best outcomes for all aspergillosis patients, until such time as a cure can be found. We have an aspiration to support research into the disease and mycology generally that can help improve health outcomes for patients. We will work towards this by:
Raising awareness of aspergillosis amongst the general public.
Finding ways to ensure patients get the best possible information to help them manage the illness.
Increase the understanding of the condition amongst medical professionals.
