Story

Update June 2025

We are now looking for some corporate sponsors to help us with our personal fuel/travel and accomodation costs. In return we will put your business logo on the sidecar or a flag and take anyone you want out for a ride or attend any event. We are going to be in the local and possible national press too so your business will be seen. Of course any personal sponsors who wish to remain anonymous would be fantastic too….I will also be providing photographic calendars for you after the event…

I cannot believe we are so close to target and it’s still 10 months away. We also have charity buckets for the ride and loads of QR code cards to give out. Thank you for that suggestion Charles Dale the charity are sending them over….We won’t ever change our target but the more we can raise the better…..Blown away by everyone’s support….

Regards

Susie Colston (Sidecar Susie)

Starting Lands End 29/3/26- Finishing John O Groates 3/4/26

I am attempting to ride a motorcycle and sidecar from Lands End to John O Groates in just a few days. My daughter Susie is hoping to join me the whole way. We wil be avoiding motorways and taking photos/video as we go. I am a professional photographer and plan on making a calendar at the end of it. We hope to stop and find scenic places on the way. Please message me with any ideas or offers of help with accommodation. So far the plan is to stop in roughly Chepstow, Manchester, Stirling then Inverness. We could also do with someone checking the rig over en route.

We are raising money for Headway. I lost my Dad very young to brain cancer and Susie’s friends Mum died very young from a brain haemorrhage. Many more friends and members of the extended family lost too. We are just a mother and daughter who wanted to do something epic together to raise awareness and money for this wonderful charity.

Headway

‘Whether the result of a trauma, stroke, tumour, haemorrhage, or infection – a brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. Headway is the UK-wide charity that provides information and support to thousands of individuals and families to rebuild their lives and regain independence following a brain injury.

Please support us in our journey, even if it isn’t financial. We welcome any offers of support. It would be great to be joined by anyone en route. Whether you ride a rig or solo or even in a car if you want to ride part way with us please let us know. Exact timings and our route will be decided nearer the time
