Aspire Channel Swim 2024 · 1 August 2024

Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

I am thrilled to be participating in the Aspire Channel Swim 2024, a big personal challenge that will help raise funds for the amazing charity, Aspire. I will be part of a team swimming 21 miles from Shakespeare's Cliff/Samphire Hoe (between Folkestone and Dover) to somewhere near Cap Gris Nez in France!

Aspire is an organisation that is dedicated to helping people with spinal cord injuries live full and independent lives. Their work is massively inspiring, and I am honoured to be able to support them.

My goal is to raise £2,000 for this charity, and I hope my friends and family will help me move towards achieving my target. Every donation counts, no matter how big or small. By donating today, you can help make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Thank you for considering supporting me on this journey towards making a difference to the lives of others.
