Story
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.
The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
I lost My mum Sheila and then a few years later my dad Paul.
When mum started her treatment, she was worried she'd loose her hair, I offered to give her mine if she did, sadly she became to ill very quickly and I never donated my hair. That conversation has stayed with me. I signed up in December but freaked out, but now I'm ready to do this.
Imagine the gift of hope and confidence for a young woman who has already gone through so much , my hair means nothing to me sadly I don't appreciate or enjoy my hair it's always tied back, but if it can bring a smile to someone who has lost theirs its worth doing. I have signed up to have my cut at Lawrence Anthony Banbury on 23rd October, mums birthday. I know this would be something she would love. I have the luxury and the privilege of doing this as my hair will grow back. Please help me raise enough money to turn my hair into a wig .
