The Half and Full Challenge - Mash Direct Belfast City Half in September and The Galway Bay Marathon in October 2023

This fund is been set up in memory of Dr Fiona Dolan, formerly specialist registrar in Ophthalmology, Glasgow who died, aged 36. It funds a cause close to Fiona's heart - enabling Ophthalmology colleagues to perform cataract operations and restore sight to people of all ages in developing countries.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have set myself a wee challenge, currently training for the Belfast City Half in September and the Galway Bay Marathon in October. This will be my first time to do a full marathon and I know I definitely need to up my training and mileage so I can successfully complete the challenge and hopefully manage to do it in a good time.

I have set up this JustGiving fundraising page to help raise funds for Fiona's Eyes Fund charity which was set up in memory of my sister Fiona, that has been helping restore eyesight all over the world. Check out the link to fund page to read up on what the charity has achieved so far with all the kind and generous donations over the years.
