Story
UPDATE - Miles in March has been going well, so I've extended my target to 50 miles!
I'm planning to run/walk 31 miles in March for ARC, a charity that provided invaluable support to me and my family during my pregnancies. A mile per day doesn't sound much, but I'm going to have to up my usual mileage from the weekly 1 mile run down the cycle track and back!
My Miles in March campaign for ARC is simple:
- I pledge to complete 31 miles in 31 days, and map out when to walk/run/cycle my challenge
- I ask generous friends and family donors to help me reach my target!
- ARC uses these donations to deliver its support services for vulnerable or grieving parents coping with unexpected results during pregnancy
Completing these miles will raise money and awareness for ARC’s vital service. Every year over 20,000 pregnant parents will get the news that their baby may not be developing as expected. ARC (Antenatal Results and Choices) has a unique remit – it is the only UK charity providing independent information and emotional support through antenatal testing and its consequences.
ARC is here for everyone – to share knowledge with parents if they receive an unexpected or devastating scan result, or impartially support families to make their own decisions about what to do next.
Thank you for supporting my Miles in March challenge!
