Claire's fundraiser for Isabel Hospice

Cambridge Half Marathon 2025 · 9 March 2025 ·
Isabel Hospice provides palliative support to the 370,000 people who live in eastern Hertfordshire.
Hospice care is about helping people to live well for as long as possible and have a good death in the place of their choice when the time comes. Without your help, we could not make this possible for our patients and their families. Each year we care for approx 2,000 people but we know there are even more people that need our help.
My Father Barry (Dad) passed away in October 2022, and was cared for in his last 5 days by the amazing Isabel Hospice team in Welwyn Garden City, at the in patient unit, where we went from his Carers back to being his daughters.
I now need a challenge as I have become very lazy and what better way to get off the sofa than by entering the Cambridge Half Marathon to hopefully reignite my passion for running again, and to help support Isabel Hospice in their delivery of Palliative care.
Please Support me in my running journey but whatever donation you can give to support this amazing charity will be greatly appreciated. Will post updates during my training progress.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
