In 2019 my mother in law was diagnosed with Stomach cancer. After an intense course of chemotherapy she was told she would have roughly 6-9 months to live. She was a fighter and battled on for much longer than predicted. However by April 2022 she was admitted to hospital followed by a long stint in Cynthia Spencer before passing away in July 2022. My husband, his family and I will be forever grateful for the help and support of the CS nurses and other staff during this time and I'd like to give something back.

I've organised a group of friends and friends of friends to walk a marathon in September to raise money for this fantastic cause.

It would be amazing if you could spare just a little of your hard earned cash to inspire me to get up on a Saturday morning and trek the length and breadth of the Northamptonshire countryside as part of my training. All in aid of Cynthia Spencer hospice ❤️
