Story
Ben Nevis - 28th June 2024 RNCI Fundraiser
This charity appeal aims to raise £2,500 to further our mission of countryside education. Together, we can empower the next generation with knowledge and inspire them to make informed choices for a sustainable future.
The Royal Northern Countryside Initiative (RNCI) covers the North East of Scotland, bringing countryside education to schools via farm and school visits, food and farming days, and STEM days. We are dedicated to providing students with a well-rounded education that goes beyond the classroom. Inspiring and educating the future generations about how their food is produced.
We aim to give pupils balanced information about agriculture, sustainability, and the importance of rural communities. By connecting students with the land and teaching them about farming practices, we hope to foster a deep appreciation for their food and encourage responsible choices.
But we can't do it alone. We need your support to continue making a difference in the lives of these young learners. Your contribution will help us supply resources into schools, organise educational events, and expand our reach to more students across the region.
The team from the RNCI committee shall climb Ben Nevis including our Chairman Chris Stockwell who shall lead the team on the mission with the help of Alex Hilton an experienced mountaineer. Along with Emma Shepherd (Vice Chairperson), Claire Green (Education Department), Phil Wriggglesworth (Director) and Ellis Mutch (Director).
Every donation counts! Your generosity will directly impact the lives of countless students by providing them with valuable learning experiences they wouldn't otherwise have access to. Help us shape a brighter future by supporting RNCI today!
Wish us luck
Thank you
