We are planning to be ‘Headway Heroes’ by taking part in their sponsored tandem skydive in June!

This is something we’ve had on our bucket list for ages, and thought it was a great way to combine the two together.

It will involve leaping out of a plane at 13,000ft, then travelling at speeds of up to 120mph (covering 1,000ft every 5 seconds!) before releasing the parachute at 5,000ft to slow for a safe landing!

It would be brilliant if you could sponsor us!

This will help support Headway's local brain injury services - including their social rehab sessions at their three centres, their 1:1 support for those with brain injury at home & in the community across the whole of Birmingham & Solihull, and their work supporting Family & Carers. It will also help with their new services, which include a therapy suite at Sutton House and a new vocational programme to help those with brain injury get into volunteering or back to paid employment.
