In 2025 one of my oldest and dearest friends, Charlotte was diagnosed with a rare form of salivary gland cancer called Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. It has unfortunately spread to multiple areas too.

Charlotte has been going through chemotherapy, radiotherapy and is due to start a research trial of immunotherapy when one is available. This is all while raising her little girl Maisie who is due to turn two in May.

I am in awe of Charlotte’s strength everyday and would love to raise some money to help support new research trials that might help her personally and many others.

I have signed up for a 70.3 Triathlon in July 2026. This comprises of a 1.2 mile open water swim, 56 mile cycle and 13.1 mile run (AKA half Ironman).
