Our Story
When we decided to start a family in 2021 we want prepared for the heartbreak we would have.
March 2022 we got our first positive test, overjoyed and so happy, sadly in April 2022 we heard the heartbreaking words ‘sorry there is no heartbeat’. Our first baby loss and sadly not our last.
December 2022 positive tests again, an early scan showed us a strong heartbeat at 7 weeks, but sadly by 12 weeks in February 2023 we got the devastating look and told their no longer a heartbeat. .
We were blessed in November 2023 with another positive test and thankfully come July 2024 we had our beautiful daughter Lucie 🩷
Sadly this month March 2026 we can suffered another lost.
Nothing can prepare you for such heartbreak. But although until this third loss we had not been allowed any tests, Tommys website and access to nurses to ask questions has been a huge part of our journey.
If by getting some sponsorship by taking part in this challenge can help other families it will mean the world to us.

1 in 2 adults in the UK say they, or someone they know, have experienced pregnancy or baby loss.
Your donations can help Tommy's continue to fund the vital research needed to change that.
I'm taking part in the 8,000 Steps a Day in March to help Tommy's fund research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth and to find the causes and treatments to save babies’ lives.
Thank you for donating whatever you can afford to help stop the heartbreak of baby loss and make pregnancy and birth safe - for everyone.
Let's make every step count!
