Story

I’m running to raise money for the Trinity Hospice in memory of my step Dad, John Beresford, who sadly lost his battle with a rare and aggressive form of Kidney cancer in November 2023.

The Trinity Hospice in Blackpool was a huge support to John, my mum and myself and we can’t thank them enough for their compassion, dedication and support.

The Trinity Hospice sits outside the NHS and they rely heavily on donations and fundraising to provide their much needed services.

I’m trying to raise at least £1k for the Trinity Hospice in Blackpool as a huge thank you for all they did for us, for the ongoing support to my Mum and all they continue to do for others.

If there is anything you can spare to support the Hospice and in memory of John, it is greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Claire

About the charity

Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children's Hospice provide specialist palliative care to adults and children across the Fylde Coast and much needed support for their families. Our services are available free of charge, but with limited government funding we need to raise over £10 million every year.
