As you may know, I am running the London marathon to raise essential funds for Children with Cancer UK.

I was running this for my beautiful cousin Helena 14, however I am heartbroken to say that I am now running this in Helena’s memory as she sadly died shortly before Christmas.

Helena was so brave despite enduring years of gruelling treatments and surgeries that no child should have to suffer.

Its's been 17 years since I last ran the marathon, and the training is definitely highlighting how much creakier and heavier the body is now than it was back then! I can't promise you record breaking completion times, but I promise to complete this event for Helena, and for each of you and your generosity and kindness.
