I can’t believe I’m doing the London Marathon at the age of 65 with my best friend from school days, Heulwen, but I am!

We’ve know each other since we were 10 years old.

We’re running in aid of DELTA, a small charity that does great work in supporting deaf children and their families.

DELTA helps and encourages deaf children to learn to LISTEN and TALK in the natural way, as all children do, and to enjoy a fulfilling life.

Heulwen’s eldest daughter and one of the DELTA marathon team have been supported by DELTA and are both amazing and inspirational young women!

A huge thank you to everyone for supporting my charity. Your very generous donations were a great motivation and encouragement from the start of my training to crossing the finish line.

Many deaf children and their families will benefit from your kindness. The funds raised will be going towards a new Parents/carers guide which will offer online and printed support for families of deaf children.
