On 1 June, I’ll be dragging myself around the Grim Up North Rothwell Cakeathon 5 miler, not just for the challenge (because it will be challenging), but to support Smart Works Leeds.

Smart Works helps unemployed - often disadvantaged - women by giving them the clothing, coaching, and confidence they need to succeed in job interviews and transform their future. Every donation helps another woman take that crucial step to grow their confidence, carry themselves differently, secure a job and change their life.

I'm passionate about ensuring no one is excluded from career opportunities on account of any aspect of their background or circumstances. I also work with people to ensure they feel confident enough to use their voice in the media as part of my business, Write for you. So this opportunity is too good to miss!
