"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much"

My good friends Alan & Ruth sadly lost their daughter Alexis Rose in 2011 to meningitis and sepsis. She was only 19 months old. Christina lost a twin sister, Billy a baby sister and Amber a big sister. They continue to work tirelessly to raise awareness through the work of the Team Alexis Rose Fitness Family, using the pain that never goes away as a force for good.

To support their work I am running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on the 12th April, my first half marathon. I prefer a 10k to get it over and done with as quickly as possible, so this will be a challenge!
