This April, Rachael and I are walking the Glasgow Kiltwalk Mighty Stride (23 miles) for Forth Valley Rape Crisis Centre (FVRC) - a place that offered me safety, kindness, understanding and hope at a time when I really needed it. The support they gave me during a very difficult period of my life has been life-changing.

Most people don't know my story and that's okay - what matters is that this organisation helps people when they really need it.

I want to give something back. I'm walking with gratitude, strength and hope that someone else will feel as supported as I was. Rachael saw how much the FVRC was a massive support for not only me but us all.
