Story
Thanks for visiting my page. I will be giving up all things chocolate for a month from 1-31 March.
I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support.
I was diagnosed with a genetically inherited heart disorder, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, in 2016. My condition has slowly progressed to the extent where I have Atrial Fibrillation, an Internal Cardio Defibrillator (ICD) and I’m on the routine waiting list for a heart transplant.
The BHF carry out vital research in order to treat and cure heart and circulatory disease, an example of one such research programme is CureHeart. This research aims to find a cure for genetically inherited conditions like mine.

It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can fund research, create cures and treat these conditions. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
