In September 2026 May and I will be competing in 'Race across Europe' to help raise money for Prevent Breast Cancer.

May and I have worked together as nurses caring for breast cancer patients for over 20 years. When we heard about this challenge we knew we would make the perfect team! Not only would we be able to help raise money for Prevent Breast Cancer a charity very close to our hearts, but we would be able to go on an exciting 4 day adventure completing challenges along the way.

Inspired by the TV show 'Race across the world' the mission will be to make our way between Amsterdam and Prague in just four days, completing exciting tasks and checkpoints along the way. We will not know anything about the tasks we have to complete until we arrive in Amsterdam and we will be racing against lots of other teams, finishing in Prague.

This trip will be entirely self funded by ourselves and we aim to raise £2000 for prevent breast cancer by doing this challenge.

Prevent Breast Cancer is the only UK charity funding ground-breaking research solely aimed at preventing breast cancer for future generations. Their research will one day bring about a world where breast cancer is preventable and thousands are saved from ever experiencing this terrible disease.
