I am honoured to be part of the BAFFA community programme and will be travelling to Nepal in January 2027 to help rebuild a dilapidated four-block classroom building. The goal of this project is to improve learning conditions, increase student enrolment, and reduce dropout rates. At present, the school faces extremely poor conditions, including leaking roofs, mud floors, dampness, mould, and overcrowded classrooms.

By rebuilding the school, we can create a safer, more accessible, and supportive learning environment, while also expanding the school’s capacity. This project aims to improve educational opportunities for children—opportunities many of us may take for granted.

This is a truly life-enhancing initiative where Dulux Paints Ireland colleagues partner with AidCamps International to build and refurbish schools in Nepal, creating lasting and meaningful change for local communities. Since its inception in 2012, BAFFA has raised an impressive €420,000, delivering 6 transformative projects and supporting 11 rural communities across Cameroon and Nepal. As a result, thousands of children now benefit from improved educational facilities, and this journey allows us to support even more.
