Gratitude for Clevedon Marine Lake 💚

Clevedon Marine Lake has been a place of calm, courage, connection and community for so many of us this year.

This page is simply a way to say thank you ~ to MARLENS, the incredible volunteers who look after the lake, and to the lake itself for giving us space to swim, dip, pause, breathe and reset.

Maintaining the lake costs thousands of pounds each year, and as a charity MARLENS relies on donations to keep it safe, clean and open for everyone.

If you’ve used the lake in the last 12 months ~ whether for a swim, a quick dip, a moment of reflection, or just being by the water ~ this is an opportunity to give a little back.

A suggested donation of £2–£5 (about the cost of a cuppa) is more than enough, though anything you choose to give is deeply appreciated.

With gratitude for the lake, the volunteers, the little fish, the big eels, and yes ~ even the jellyfish 🪼💚
