Story
On 5th September I will be taking part in a 50 km walk along the Southdown’s Way, as part of the South Coast Ultra Challenge. (Those braver in the group are aiming for 100km in 24 hours).
The walk is to raise funds in memory of Issy Spiers, the beautiful 13 year old daughter of my friends Nicki and Matt, who sadly passed away in January of this year after a 4 year battle with a brain tumour. Her positivity, bravery and humour throughout were inspirational.
The Brain Tumour Charity helps raise funding for research into better diagnosis, treatments and cures for Brain Tumours, an area which is hugely underfunded, despite taking more lives of those under 40 in the UK than any other cancers. For more information on the charity please find the link to their website - thebraintumourcharity.org
Every penny helps so any donations would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks
Claire
