Story
I missed my chance to register for the Manchester half but charity places were available. I chose to support MRSN because:
- Anyone can be a refugee. I believe in human rights and justice for all.
- I lived 17 years in the Middle East, and worked with teachers in Lebanon during the Syria war, helping them to integrate migrant and refugee children. I've seen how difficult it can be for families and young people arriving in a strange country.
- My grandma lived most of her life on Princess Road in Moss Side and my Dad gew up there. When I saw MRSN's offices are just down the road it was like a sign.
I'm happy to be able to run, and happy to be able to support a cause that speaks to me.
If it speaks to you, or you just want to buy me a virtual coffee, please donate. Everything counts and goes straight to the charity.
Love Claire x
