10 years ago i took part in the 10km and raised over £1000 for Hana's Gift. Hanas Gift fund memorials for pregnancy, still birth and neonatal losses. Karen, the founder of this charity, who created it in memory of her own baby girl Hana, funded part of Tommys headstone all them years ago, making a hard time a little easier. So my first run was a thank you to Karen, Hana and thier charity and a way of helping others facing such a difficult time. Fast forward to now. Tommy would have been 10 on the 28/12/13 and is still remembered by the charity throughout the years and the fundraisers they do. To mark this decade we would like to raise £1000 for the charity. £100 for each year since my world fell apart. Myself, my son Bailey, my partner Matt, my sister Jemma and cousins Chris and Ellen are all taking part in the 10km event. And we all intend to finish, even if we crawl it.!!
