Tyler’s big hair cut!!!

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read Tyler’s story.

In September 2021 at the age of 9, Tyler decided he wanted to grow his hair long, his aim was to get it as long as his mums.

Four years later, aged 13 he has reached his goal!

Unfortunately we have had to talk a lot about cancer recently. Tyler’s little brother Ellis age 7 has had two of his best friends suffer tragic losses this year.

James and Lily lost their sister Rose aged 11 last month due to a short and courageous battle with liver cancer.

Parker and Evie lost their mum Claire just 5 months ago after a devastating relapse of breast cancer.

Tyler being the kind hearted young man that he is asked if he could have his hair cut and donate it to the little princess trust.

Not only does he want to donate his hair to this amazing charity but he would like to be able to raise enough money to fund that hair being made into a wig for a child suffering hair loss.

Tyler would like to dedicate his big hair cut to Rose and Claire, both with so much love left to give but sadly taken far too soon.

HUGE thanks to The Groom Room in Newton Abbot for donating his hair cut and especially to George for his time and patience who has cut his hair into a new short style that Tyler loves!
