Climbing the height of Mount Everest on my stairs

We are members of National Citizens Advice and, in common with all members, our twin aims are: - To provide quality advice that is free, confidential, independent and impartial - To improve the policies and practices that may be unfair and affect the lives of the community that we serve

Story

Hi! I’m Emma and I am climbing the height of Mount Everest on my stairs over a period of 6 months to raise money for charity. I am doing this to complete my volunteering section of my Duke of Edinburgh award but also because every day I see how hard my mum works to make people feel okay and help them with their problems. It is a job that requires a lot of selflessness and can change peoples lives forever, although as a charity it needs all the funding and love it can get. When I was thinking about which charity I would raise money for, I didn’t really have to think twice - everyone at Citizens Advice works so hard to ensure people have a place to live and a good income to live on. So, I am making a small sacrifice for any kind of donation - big or small - to help them continue to do their awesome work! Thank you so much in advance!
