Story
Hello! I am raising money to provide laptops and printers for my former school in Western Ukraine. After college, I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Tysmenytsya and taught English as a foreign language. Because of the war, the needs in Ukraine are greater than ever.
I asked my friends how I could support local students and teachers and they asked for 12 laptops and 12 printers, one for each grade level. This technology will help teachers provide remote learning options and take-home assignments when in-person classes are disrupted by the war.
I am partnering with Ukrainian Action, an NGO dedicated to supporting the survival and development of Ukrainian Citizens, to purchase and transport the laptops and printers to my school.
Ukrainian Action is 100% volunteer run with no staff costs. It is a US tax-exempt charity (501c3) with pending UK charity status. And it was started by a fellow Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, Jeffrey Hartman.
Their primary purpose is to buy vehicles in the UK (Pickups, Ambulances, SUVs) and then drive/donate them to Ukraine. The vehicles are filled with donated or purchased supplies (Medical, humanitarian, protective, and generators). These vehicles save lives by distributing humanitarian aid to liberated areas and evacuating civilians from conflict.
Please join me in helping the next generation of Ukrainians access educational resources by donating today!
