The last few years were a rollercoaster for my family as my mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer she received chemotherapy and lots of support from healthcare professionals and has made an amazing recovery.

As a family we are unbelievably thankful for all the support she received and a key part of this was the support offered by Macmillan.

Each year we are trying to raise money for Macmillan to show our appreciation but more importantly to help them continue their amazing work and help other families have the amazing future we have together.

In April 2024, I am taking part in Walk to Support in Birmingham to raise vital funds for people affected by cancer.

I will try to raise as much as I can and would appreciate any support in doing this. My fundraising will help provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer.

I know times are hard for a lot of people but even if you only have a few spare pennies we would be so grateful.
