Jack Yeandle Testimonial – Devon Coast to Coast Social Cycle Ride

CLAIRE TUCKER is raising money for British Heart Foundation

Jack Yeandle cycle ride · 21 June 2025

Jack Yeandle is the club captain of the Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club. During the 2024/25 season he is celebrating his testimonial year, having played for the Exeter Chiefs for over 10 years.

Story

As part of his testimonial year, Jack Yeandle, Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club Captain, and his committee are organising a social cycle ride from the North to the South coast of Devon.

Taking place on Saturday 21st June 2025, this cycle ride will be raising funds for the British Heart Foundation, a charity chosen by Jack after losing his best friend to a cardiac arrest over 10 years ago.

There will be a planned route, starting with a ‘wheel dip’ in the sea on the Northern Devon coast, then making it’s way through the Devon countrywide with refreshment stops at South Molton and Crediton Rugby Club – where Jack’s playing career started! Before progressing on to Exmouth for a ‘wheel dip’ on the South Devon Coast.

There will be an option to join the ride at Crediton and cycle to Exmouth.

As part of Paul’s recovery from his surgery in December (and awaiting the final operation in his bowel cancer treatment), we have decided to join this event for the Crediton to Exmouth stage. This is still a considerable distance to work towards especially as Claire doesn’t cycle more than 3 miles during any year!!

If Paul’s operation does get scheduled and is unable to take part, Claire will undertake the challenge alone to ensure that donations to Jacks chosen charity is met from us both.

Hopefully the weather will be kind, Claire is going to need all the help she can get! But it’s a great opportunity for us to do something together for fun - for the first time in 18+ months 😎🚲🥵🍻
