On 13 June 2026, I am taking on a 9 mile hike through the Mournes to raise money for Marie Curie, in memory of my incredible friend Laura May.

This cause is very close to my heart because I saw first-hand the kindness, respect and care the Marie Curie nurses and staff provided to Laura and her family. The work Marie Curie does to support families at the most difficult times is vital, and I want to help them continue their amazing work.

All the money raised will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.

£5 could help fund the heating in a hospice for an hour.

£23 could help fund an hour of nursing care in someone's own home.

£207 could help fund nine hours of overnight nursing care.
