Claire's fundraiser for CoppaFeel

CoppaTrek! Challenge - Peak District · 14 September 2024 ·
In December my sister-in-law, Sophie, was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. It’s been a complete shock to all of us and has been almost impossible to process and start to come to terms with.
Unfortunately, this has happened even though Sophie did regularly check her breasts, understood all of the signs and knew what was normal for her. A big part of choosing this charity is to ensure everyone is as clued up as Sophie is - so please check your breasts!
Sophie is a complete inspiration and although she is faced with so much adversity, she continues to be as brave and strong as you could possibly be.
Although, I can’t do much to help, I am going to be running some charity events over the next few months to help raise as much money as possible. My first event is a coffee morning and the second event will be a marathon trek in the Peak District with Coppafeel 💖
If you can donate, even if just £1, myself, Tom, Sophie’s whole family and Coppafeel would be incredible grateful. Please read below a bit more about the charity Coppafeel.
Love,
Claire
CoppaFeel! are the first UK breast cancer charity to create awareness amongst young people, with the aim to instil a new healthy behaviour that could one day save a life. They are on a mission to ensure breast cancer is diagnosed early and correctly by getting the nation to check their boobs/chest regularly. They want to educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encourage them to get to know what is normal for them and empower young people to have the confidence to see a doctor if they notice anything that isn't right for them.
