EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by my JustGiving page. I'm gearing up for the Marathon Des Sables on April 4, 2025, and I couldn't be more excited! This isn't just any marathon; it's an ultra run across the Sahara Desert covering around 250km over 7 days that will require me to be self sufficient and carry my kit. This is a personal challenge that pushes me to my limits while supporting an incredible cause: Headway - the brain injury association.

This year marks 5 years since my brain injury, and I've decided to up my endurance game and give back to this amazing charity. Headway does fantastic work in helping those affected by brain injuries. They provide vital support, information, and services that can truly change lives. But they can't do it alone – they need our help!

That's where you come in. By donating through JustGiving, you're not just making a contribution; you're making a difference in someone's life. Donating is super easy and secure with JustGiving. Your details are safe, and once you donate, your money goes directly to Headway.

My goal is to raise £1,000 to support their mission, and every little bit helps! So if you can spare anything at all, I would be incredibly grateful. Let's make this journey count together!
