Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

SRL Traffic Systems, Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture & Hatton Traffic Management are partnering to complete a Sponsored Sleep Out on the streets of London on Thursday 29th February 2024, to help raise awareness and funds for The Manna Centre, a local charity close to our hearts.

A day centre for homeless people and those in need, this incredible charity has been operating in London Bridge since 1982. Open seven days a week, 51 weeks of the year, they provide constant support for individuals in vulnerable situations.

Approximately 40% of service users are rough sleepers, 10% reside in secure, socially rented accommodation and the remaining 50% stay in some form of temporary accommodation (hostels, friends & privately rented accommodation). The Manna Centre support people by providing daily services including breakfast and lunch, a hot shower, clean clothes, housing and welfare advice. It costs approximately £40,800 per month to provide their services.

The Manna Centre are solely dependent on voluntary donations to raise approximately 88% of the annual £490,000 budget and are totally reliant on the goodwill of supporters for their continued existence.

Every penny and pound makes a difference. Please give anything you can to help us support this fantastic charity.
