I am honoured to be able to raise money and awareness for Guts Uk by taking part in the London Marathon 2025! I approached Guts Uk after finding out that a very special lady whose youngest son I was teaching at the time, was diagnosed with terminal cancer (bowl, liver & lungs). Dawn was a wonderful mum to her amazing boys Harley (6) and Teddy (5). She was not only one of the kindest and loveliest people you could meet but she was one of life’s fighters! After nearly loosing Dawn early in her cancer treatment journey, she fought so hard, so she could make memories and enjoy as much time as possible with her boys. The strength and determination Dawn showed was an inspiration and was my inspiration to raise money for this charity. Sadly in January, Dawn lost her battle and is now forever sleeping.
