Welcome to my fundraising page for parkrun Global.

I am super excited to have been awarded a spot in the 2027 TCS Double London Marathon, running in aid of parkrun Global!

Why support me? What is parkrun?

parkrun provides free, weekly opportunities for people to be active and social through the delivery of local community based 5k and 2k events in countries around the world. Committed to breaking down barriers to participation, parkrun events are simple, scalable and open to everyone. parkrun Global is the charity which helps deliver these events around the world, keeping them free, for everyone, forever.

I've been a parkrunner now since February 2019. It was a 'slow burn' at first, but eventually I was hooked. I love the community, the support, the ability to be with like-minded people and the inclusivity. Since May 2025 I have also been a member of parkrun UK staff; I directly work with and support the 1,400+ UK 5k and 2k event teams and so see at close hand how the support of parkrun Global works to ensure our events are kept simple, safe and sustainable for all.

What next?

My official 'training' block starts on Monday 07th December; having recently been injured, I am currently working on some rehab and getting myself into a good spot to be ready to start the training.

I've been visiting, and will continue to visit, events across the UK to share the word about my fundraising; hopefully I'll see you at one of them! In particular, I'm also trying to complete a special 'London Marathon parkrun alphabet' - see below for my progress!
