Clare's fundraiser for Glass Door

Clare Harbin is raising money for Glass Door

Glass Door Homeless Charity coordinates the UK’s largest network of open-access services for people affected by homelessness. Year round we provide support and hope, so people can get off, and stay off the streets. Our vision is a world where no one has to sleep on the streets of London.

Story

On Sunday 11 October 2026 I will be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon (my first ever half!) to raise money for Glass Door!

Based in London, Glass Door coordinates the UK's largest network of open-access services for people affected by homelessness. During the hard months of winter, Glass Door also provides emergency winter accommodation at partner churches, including St Mary's Church (where I works and worship!).

This past winter, Glass Door provided 491 guests with a safe place to sleep, hot meals and access to our casework service to find a permanent route out of homelessness.

Housing is a fundamental human need and London is a tough place to sleep rough. I am honoured to be able to challenge myself to a half marathon for such an important cause! Thank you in advance for your support!
