Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Some of you will know that my Dad hasn’t been in great health for some time now, and has had treatment and various stays in Salisbury District Hospital and always had the most wonderful care.
When my Mum turned 80 in January, she said that in her 80th year she would love to do a Wing Walk to raise funds for the Stars Appeal, the charity of Salisbury District Hospital who fundraise to provide, amongst other things, High Definition Videoscopes for earlier cancer diagnosis, ‘By Your Side’ sleeper chairs for relatives, specialist cots for newborn babies and free WIFI for all patients, visitors and staff.
Unfortunately shortly before Mum was due to do the Wing Walk she was diagnosed with a condition that meant that the Wing Walk wasn’t a possibility, my Mum was so disappointed.
So this is where I come in! I have agreed to do this on behalf of my Mum. To be clear, I’m petrified! This was on Mum’s bucket list, not mine! But I’m doing it for Mum and Dad and the families who will benefit from the monies raised for this fantastic charity.
Please give what you can, I know times are hard for everyone, but every pound will help towards some of the fantastic things that the Stars Appeal are currently fundraising for Stars Appeal.
