Music making a difference! As a community music charity, the incredible Plymouth Music Zone believes passionately in the power of music to reach out and bring people together.

I have been a very proud trustee of this small local charity for 6 years. They do amazing things and bring joy to so many lives. Their dedication to fostering creativity and connection through music is truly inspiring.

As a token of my appreciation and awe of their commitment, I have decided to push my limits and run my first ultra marathon, "The Crossing," covering 33 miles across Dartmoor on August 9, 2025. This challenge is not just about personal achievement (my training has been going well and I am slowly clocking up the miles!) it’s about raising funds to support PMZ with their essential musical endeavours.

I am aiming to raise £750 (possibly more) to help Plymouth Music Zone deliver their incredible range of music workshops and groups that touch the hearts of many community members. Your support can make a real difference in the lives of those who benefit from these programs.
