The Friends of Orchard Brae Fun Run / Walk in and around Seaton Park has become an annual favourite since our first event in 2019. In keeping with the ethos of Orchard Brae, our event is inclusive and welcoming with walkers and runners very welcome. We have a tail walker to ensure that the best banter is at the rear and nobody will be left behind.

Entry is free but we welcome donations to our school charity, Friends of Orchard Brae. This supports us in purchasing specialist equipment and activities to develop our children and young people. Our next BIG (and long term fundraising project) is for a new minibus.

We use our minibus to get out and about within the community. While some children can use public transport, buses have limited space for wheelchairs and this restricts outings for many individuals and classes. Others can find the journey challenging in itself; building things up by going on the minibus allows access to community facilities, developing skills at our own pace.
