Hi all,

On Sunday 13th July, I will be swimming the Bantham Boomerang in the Avon Estuary in Devon supporting Level Water, a charity helping disabled children to learn to swim and enjoy the water, free from the confines they experience in every day life.

The Boomerang swim (up to 10km/6 miles) starts at Bantham Beach with swimmers heading upriver with the assistance of the incoming tide. When the tide turns, so do the swimmers, swimming back downriver with the outgoing tide, swooshing into Bantham Beach and the finish line.

I will be aiming to beat the tide and cover the full 10km swim to raise as much money as possible to help children with disabilities enjoy the water as much as I do.

We will be camping overnight on the beautiful Bantham Estate ready to get to registration by 5am ready for a very early start!
