The PLANETS Cancer Charity Studio 54 Ball will take place at Watergate on Saturday 6th June 2026, bringing the glamour and glitz of New York’s iconic nightclub to Dorset – all in support of people living with cancer across the Central South Coast.

I was motivated to support PLANETS by my dearest school friend, Nickie Butler (née Mundy), who died from pancreatic cancer in April 2023. Just a month earlier, I lost another wonderful friend to cancer, and over the years other close friends and family members, including my husband’s two sisters, have also died from this disease. These losses have strengthened my determination to help make a difference.

PLANETS Cancer Charity is a small organisation achieving remarkable things. It funds pioneering treatments, specialist equipment and patient support for those affected by pancreatic, liver, colorectal, gastric, oesophageal and neuroendocrine cancers. Every donation contributes directly to improving care and outcomes for patients and their families.

The Studio 54 Ball will bring together supporters, clinicians, and the local community for a memorable evening, united by a shared goal – to help people live well and for longer with cancer.
