Story

Alice and I shared something - we both got diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer! Sadly, Alice lost her battle on 2nd February 2026.

I was diagnosed with TNBC on 15/9/23 and under went surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy and am now cancer free. Alice gave me the best advice and help during my journey even though she was fighting herself. She will never be forgotten.

After attending Alice’s celebration of life on 24/2/26, I felt a need to sign up for The Titty Trot that Alice was organising before her passing. My wonderful daughter Sophie and her boyfriend Noah will be joining me on the day - so grateful. They will be running the 10k and me the 5k. My body is still recovering but I’ll do it for you Alice. Together we will make you proud Alice.

Read Alice’s story below:-

When faced with cancer at the age of 24 Alice was dealt with either fight of flight mode, luckily she chose to hit the ground running with fight mode and despite her continuous treatment, surgeries and very much survival mode she chose to fundraise, having raised over £350,000 since her diagnosis of breast cancer 2.5 years ago, her fundraising journey continues and only gets stronger for 3 local charities close to her heart! The Titty Trot is to raise money for Nottingham breast cancer research, where you can run or walk, 5 or 10K, to show the importance of moving the body, getting outside, coming together to show that despite everything, we are strong than cancer!
