Story
On 16th May, I’ll be taking part in the Pendleside Hospice 5k Sponsored Walk on the Leeds to Liverpool canal and this year it carries a weight that’s hard to put into words.
I’m walking in loving memory of Morgan Halleron - Our Daughter Sophies wonderful Grandad, Martins father and Susan's husband for over 50 Years.
This date marks one year since we lost Morgan, and doing this walk feels like a way to honour him, remember him, and keep his kindness and warmth alive.
Losing Morgan left a space that can never truly be filled. Walking for him feels like carrying a little piece of that love forward.
Pendleside Hospice is a place that gives families comfort, dignity and compassion during the hardest moments of their lives. They support people with such care and humanity, and they rely heavily on fundraising to continue doing what they do.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean the world.
You wouldn’t just be supporting me you’d be honouring Morgan, and helping a hospice that helps so many families when they need it most.
Thank you, truly, for your kindness and support.
