Story
I'm taking on the STEPtember Challenge by running a minimum of 75 miles during September, to raise awareness and funds for PASIC Cancer Support in memory of my Frank's best friend Brody, who sadly lost his life to a rare DIPG brain tumour at the tender age of 9 earlier this year.
I'm doing this as a celebration of their enduring friendship and in support of our friends Bev and Tim who so valued the support they have received from this amazing, but perhaps lesser known, charity over the last year. They have supported them when they needed it most and helped them to make treasured memories together.
PASIC provide emotional, practical, social support for families of children and young people with cancer in the East Midlands. Funding support workers at Nottingham Children’s Hospital and Leicester Royal Infirmary. PASIC offer a listening ear, advice, grants for families and fun family activities.
Please support if you can, but also importantly, please help spread the word about their amazing work.
