Story
I am raising funds for a charity for homeless people in Wales that one of my friends works at.
They have drop in centres throughout Wales, and their services include a morning outreach providing help, hot drinks and general support and help finding accommodation.
We will have already completed a marathon in the Brecon Beacons, starting and finishing at Pontsticill reservoir on the 22 July, and will be competing 3 other events to raise money for this charity.
We have also completed a Spartan race on 17 August
BEAST Details - 21K • 30 OBSTACLES
Our third event is on the 27 September / The Deadly Dozen
The Deadly Dozen track race involves 12 x 400m runs, and 12 exercise stations between each 400m run.
Finally we will be running the Cardiff Half Marathon for The Wallich on Sunday 05 October 2025.
The Wallich is Wales' leading homelessness and rough-sleeping charity. They work side-by-side with people to help them rebuild their lives and move away from homelessness, for good.
Their teams have been there for more than 7,000 people during the most unpredictable and worrying times we have ever faced.
It is vital that people continue to receive support throughout and beyond this crisis.
Whether that's providing emergency accommodation, supporting people with mental health and substance misuse issues, or upskilling for the future, they services cover all parts of someone's journey out of homelessness.
Please sponsor me today and ensure The Wallich continues to offer a lifeline to people sleeping rough, helping them to take their first step out of homelessness.
