Story
Max and Sam are 8 years old and have been very eager to raise some money for a charity and to incorporate their own style of a challenge. When they heard that every day in the UK 250 people start to lose their sight they decided they wanted to help. They know lots about the local charity Sight Concern Bedfordshire and how it supports those who are affected by sight loss, as a family member works for the charity and the boys are always asking lots of welcome questions. The aim of the charity is to enhance the quality of life of blind and partially sighted people living in Bedfordshire and Luton.
When Max and Sam were creating one of their many long loom band chains the idea of what they would like to do was born..... to represent the statistic of 250 mentioned above they would turn their 6ft loom band chain into a 250 foot one! (ok they actually said 250 miles, but after a bit of gentle persuasion they agreed to feet)
Now here comes the bit where you can help, we know times are tough at the moment so there is no donation too small and every penny would help this fantastic charity and of course spur Max and Sam to complete their challenge!
Be warned....if you see Max and Sam over the next few weeks you may have to add a loom band or two while they have a snack break from all that loom banding!
