GOOD GRIEF 15 HIGH TORS CHALLENGE

clare browning is raising money for THE GOOD GRIEF PROJECT
In memory of Justin Browning
We are a group of bereaved parents and siblings who are taking on 15 of Dartmoor's highest Tors. Please support us by donating to THE GOOD GRIEF PROJECT our charity dedicated finding active and creative ways of expressing grief.

Story

My middle son, Justin died nearly 10 years ago aged 20 while at university in Tokyo. Since then I have found great comfort in running or walking whilst talking with family and friends.

I'm looking forward to taking on this challenge. I'll be joining a number of other bereaved parents and siblings as we undertake a 20 mile trek over some of Dartmoor’s wildest terrain (much of it off-piste!), climbing and descending some 2000 metres of elevationin order to reach 15 of its lesser-known but highest tors (anything over 300 metres) - all in under 10 hours.

It is our collective way of honouring our children, all of whom have died too soon. It’s also about coming together in a joint enterprise to share our grief in an active way – to walk, talk (if I can find the breath) and find a renewed confidence in doing something really physical, quite demanding but also inspiring.

You can help me realise this goal by making a donation, however small, to THE GOOD GRIEF PROJECT, my favourite charity dedicated to helping the bereaved find new, active and creative ways of expressing their grief. All funds we raise will go towards helping less advantaged bereaved families attend the Project's Active Grief Weekend retreats.

Thank you so much for any support you feel able to provide.
