Story
💫 Why I’m Running
In June 2026, I’ll be taking on the ultimate challenge: running for 24 hours straight, aiming to cover a minimum of 120km – one kilometre for every year The Clare School has been changing lives.
The Clare School is a truly special place. It’s where I teach, where I’ve witnessed incredible resilience, joy, and the deep impact that the right support can have on pupils with complex medical and sensory needs.
This run isn’t just about distance or endurance. It’s about celebrating 120 years of inclusion, care, and education. And it’s about paving the way for the next generation.

🛝 What We’re Raising For
We’re fundraising for something vital: a brand-new, fully accessible playground. A space where every child at The Clare School – regardless of mobility, medical needs or sensory challenges – can play, explore, and thrive.
This isn’t a luxury. It’s a necessity. Play is learning, healing, connecting. And our pupils deserve a space that reflects their needs, strengths, and dreams.

💖 How You Can Help
Please donate whatever you can. Every pound raised brings us closer to a playground that’s:
• Fully inclusive
• Sensory-rich
• Safe and accessible for all pupils
Whether it’s the cost of your coffee or a day’s wage, every contribution counts. If you can’t donate, you can still help by sharing this page with your friends, family, or workplace.
Let’s run this together.
