Aiming Higher supports families with disabled children across the Fylde Coast. We provide a range of fantastic facilities including a soft play area, sensory room & a suite of counselling rooms. We hold family sessions & Drop-In Coffee Mornings where parents can access training and peer support.

Story

On April 27th this year, I'll be running Manchester Marathon and I've decided to run it for a great cause - attempting to raise vital funds for a small, local charity that helps look after disabled children and their families. Please read below for more info on Aiming Higher. Together we can help put some funds into a charity that is in desperate need of it.

Aiming Higher support the families of children and young people with additional needs. Without doubt these children can bring immense pleasure. However due to the complexity of some of our children’s conditions, families find it difficult to access activities. Families experience many barriers and can become isolated and suffer further hardship.

We support these families hosting family events at suitable locations, subsidising the cost of activities and providing stay and play groups and counselling sessions at our Blackpool base.
